Good Afternoon
I hope this email finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe. I am happy to announce that we are partnering with Meijer to bring COVID vaccinations to the communities beginning Thursday, March 11, 2021 (second doses administered April 1), At this time we are allowed to vaccinate those eligible per Michigan Department of Health & Human Services and Wayne County guidelines. As their guidelines change, we will be able to expand ours as well and provide vaccines to a larger population. Those eligible effective March 8, 2021 include:
- Healthcare workers
- Long term care residents and staff
- Prioritized frontline responders
- Schools – teachers/staff
- Child care staff
- Corrections staff
- Agriculture/food processing workers
- Anyone 65 and older
- Anyone 50 and older with disabilities/pre-existing conditions
- Caregivers of children with special health care needs
Patients can register at this time by texting “ACCESS” to 75049 or by the web using the link https://clinic.meijer.com/register/CL0035. NOTE: If you are not a current Meijer Pharmacy customer, you will be prompted to create a new profile before registering. Please be aware that registration must be completed by Sunday, March 7th at 4 pm. On Monday, March 8th, all registrants will receive a text message with a link to complete their consent documents and pick an appointment time. Appointments will be scheduled from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, and will allow us to provide 1,170 vaccines.
I have attached FLIERS for your reference (PDF to print; PNG to share on social media), and I hope we can count on you to help us spread the word about this event! As always, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have.
