On Saturday 9 March the conference, Night Falls in the Evening Lands: The Assange Epic took place with more than 600 people attending in person and online. It featured outstanding speakers including former Greece Finance Minister, Yanis Varoufakis; specialist in human rights, Craig Mokhiber; historian and expert in politics of the United States, Dr Emma Shortis; and former advisor on Middle East issues to Javier Solana, the EU Foreign Policy Chief and Director of Conflicts Forum, Alastair Crooke.
As we await the decision of the judges at the UK High Court, determining if Julian will be extradited to the US or be granted a full appeal hearing, the speeches recorded at the conference will provide you with important context at this critical point in time.
Help us ensure as many people as possible have access to this information. Will you share the videos with your friends, family and colleagues?
Your generous support allows us to finance events like this one which crucially bring people together, raise awareness about Julian’s plight and inspire action. Your donation will empower us to support plans for another conference, enabling the next one to reach more people and make an even bigger impact!
