May is Mental Health Awareness Month and National Prevention Week always falls within the month.
This year we will be hosting open mic event on poetry, spoken word, or written song on Mental Health and Substance use Prevention. This event will involve our youth group, Hope House members, coalition members , staff, and community members.
The event will be held on Tuesday May 14th, at ACCESS Hope House. Doors opening at 5:30pm with start time of 6pm. Each person would have 10 minutes. Please share this information with others and we hope to see you at our event!
National Prevention Week is a public education platform showcasing the work of communities and
organizations across the country that are preventing substance use and misuse and promoting positive mental health.
