PROTESTS TODAY and beyond for Palestine, Peace & Justice

Lands Day for Palestine

Collections to support SW Detroiters

📍 Location: 5 Woodward Ave

⏰ Time:

1 pm (drop off donations—see below for request)

1:30 pm (protest begins) Since 1976, Land Day has been commemorated by Palestinians in Palestine and the diaspora to sustain the struggle for the right to remain and return to historic Palestine. Stemming from unified protests against Zionist land theft, Land Day reflects the ongoing steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their commitment to the land.

This year, as Trump threatens to “take Gaza” directly from the White House and Zionist forces escalate their displacement campaign in the West Bank, our duty to stand with Palestine is more urgent than ever.

From Southwest Detroit to Gaza, we fight for land, dignity, and the right to stay.

✊ JOIN US ON MARCH 30th!

Before we march on March 30th, we are collecting essential donations to support flood victims in Southwest Detroit. Just as the Palestinian people resist displacement and environmental destruction, our communities here face the same systemic neglect. From Gaza to Detroit, governments and corporations prioritize profit over people—but we take care of each other.Requested Items:

Unfortunately, we recognize that this event conflicts with Eid ul-Fitr, and we sincerely apologize for the timing. The webinar will be recorded and available for those who are unable to attend.

Hands Off! Detroit Fights Back · Hands Off**Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them.** Detroit is fighting back! They’re taking everything they can get their hands on—our health care, our data, our jobs, our services—and daring the world to stop them. This is a crisis, and the time to act is now.

🚨 On Saturday, April 5th at 1 pm

we’re taking to the streets to fight back with a clear message: Hands off! 🚨

📍 Where: DIA (Detroit Institute of Arts)

FRONT STEPS to gather – marching to park and back

This mass mobilization day is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire allies. Alongside Americans across the country, we are marching, rallying, and protesting to demand a stop the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our country.

A core principle behind all Hands Off! events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

On April 5th at 1pm, the Palestinian Youth Movement – along with US Palestinian Community Network, American Muslims for Palestine, US Campaign for Palestinian Rights, Palestinian Feminist Collective, Jewish Voices for Peace, AROC Action, ANSWER Coalition, The People’s Forum, Democratic Socialists of America, and Tamkeen – will march on Washington, DC to demand a permanent ceasefire and an arms embargo now!

The movement against genocide in North America has risen time and time again in support of Gaza and will not rest now. The Trump administration, building on the tactics of the Biden administration, is now increasing its attempts to silence pro-Palestine, anti-genocide voices.

Join us in Washington, DC on April 5th at a critical time for the movement for Palestine. We call on all our movement of students, workers, teachers, artists, activists, healthcare workers, tech workers and people of conscience all over North America to stand up to Trump and his ethnic cleansing plan for Gaza. We’ll see you in Washington, DC on April 5th!
