Cinema Nights at AANM – Who Killed Alex Odeh?

Greetings friends,

I hope this finds you doing well. The Arab American National Museum (AANM) is pleased to kick off the second half of Cinema Nights at the Museum, with the award-winning murder mystery documentary, Who Killed Alex Odeh?

Who Killed Alex Odeh? reopens the mystery behind the 1985 killing of beloved Palestinian activist, teacher and community leader, Alex Odeh. The film tracks a renewed investigation in real time as new leads emerge, long-buried records come to light, and the forces behind a political assassination are finally confronted. Unfolding like a detective thriller, the film weaves archival footage, firsthand testimony, and new reporting to expose the violent fundamentalist networks behind the attack and the institutional failures that protected them.
Immediately following the screening, we are pleased to be in conversation with director William Youmans and Alex Odeh’s daughter Helena Odeh!
