Tuhamas …. The Tradition Of A Sandwich

If you live in Dearborn, you know Tuhamas Restaurant, but if you come to Dearborn as a visitor, it would be hard not to miss this small, one window, restaurant on Warren Avenue, in the middle of Arab Town, that serves an excuisite selection of sandwiches second to none.

Tuhamas, and its owner Midhat who still works there, is most famous for their Sujuk and fawarigh sandwiches.

The price is just right, the service is fast, but don’t expect to be serviced if you sit to dine there on one of the four tables! Get your sandwiches and go eat with your friends and/or family while discussing politics of the Middle East. This is how a Tuhamas Sandwich is supposed to be eaten!
