This email is to clarify the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality has taken two separate actions for the proposed permits for the Dearborn Industrial Generation, LLC (DIG) facility located at 2400 Miller Road, Dearborn, Michigan.
The first, Permit to Install Application No. 56-17 for the new natural gas fired simple cycle turbine, was withdrawn by DIG. Therefore, the Air Quality Division has voided the application.
The second, Permit to Install Application No. 163-17 to adjust formaldehyde emission limits at their existing facility was approved with changes. The changes included reducing the emissions limits and requiring additional testing to verify the emissions.
