Greetings friends,
This is your friendly reminder that the Arab American National Museum’s (AANM) 20th Arab Film Festival is happening this week; May 7-11!! Individual tickets for each screening + passes are available throughout the festival. While many of our screenings will take place at AANM, we are excited to bring screenings to Detroit, Flint and Hamtramck! Many of our short film selections are available to virtual audiences across the US as well.
Join us as we kick off our Film Festival with the Iraqi film, Lions of Mesopotamia and a delicious Iraqi meal! Other programs during our festival include the screening of the award-winning Palestinian documentary, No Other Land, the silent, animated 1926 film The Adventures of Prince Achmed + Live Organ Music at the Senate Theater in Detroit, four short film programs, and our Arab Film Fest: After Dark Reception, happening May 10.
